Bentheim Castle

Bentheim Castle is the largest hilltop castle in northwestern Germany, receiving mention for the first time in 1050. Today, it is in the possession of the Counts and Princes of Bentheim and Steinfurt for more than five centuries.

Bentheim Castle is open daily.

From 10th january to 17th february, the castle is just open on saturdary and sunday.

A FFP2 mask must be worn in the entrance area and in the buildings. Further the 2G-option does apply to our guests.

At the moment, no group events such as guided tours are offered.
